Remember when

I told you about last years Shop Hop and how I was going to buy a fat quarter at every shop -  Ya know, I had Jeff pick a color and he picked green and, okay you remember now.


I ended up with 34 green and gold and brownish fat quarters  (not every shop had the perfect green, so I improvised)

Pam's rule:

You cannot go on next year's Shop Hop until you do something with those 34 fat quarters.

DONE!

It's my driving foot - and she's ready to go........  11 days left to the first day of Shop Hop!  I never thought I'd be getting excited all ready!!

I feel the itch a comin' on........

I just realized Shop Hop 2012 is only 16 days away......

I'd stay and chat but I've got things to do -
like clean my sewing room so it can hold more treasures.  (Shhhh, don't tell Jeff)

34 shops in 10 days

Lindsey, Mom and Me!

This was our last day!  Check out the "Birdie Sling" purses and the Market Tote to carry all our "stuff" -  We each made both of them!  Next year - 1 bag.  OMG! We're all ready starting to plan next year!!!!!  It's taken me 2 days to get back to normal and I'm all ready planning.......  this is nuts!! Nuts I tell you!!

It's a crazy world I live in.......this world of sewing.......  crazy.........

New project

So the other day I had this bright idea and I asked Jeff  - "pick at color"

he said, "what for?"

I said, "not telling, just pick a color?"

he said, "green"

I said, "done"

Then I told him why -  Every time I go to on this Shop Hop and visit any of the stores,  I will buy 1 fat quarter to use in a new project.  So, thanks to Jeff's quick decision making this year's color will be green. 

Now, what do I do with 34 green fat quarters? 

This is where you ladies that sew throw ideas my way....
